THE CITY OF BLINDING LIGHTS: VEGAS!

It was my first time in Vegas and my first impression after 5 hours driving, was the blinding lights yeahh that's why i wanted to call this post like the song of U2...."In the city of blinding lights the Neon heart day-glow eyes a city lit by fireflies they are advertising in the skies for people like us".

The lights of each Hotel the dimension of each one and the luxury of all this city really makes you blind. A fantasy place were you can spend without worring and get stressed. At least at that moment, cause the day after of playing two hours in the slot machine and have lost 200 dolar, won 30 and lost again  150. Made me realize how tricky that game could be. Specially when the guy next to you is winning and winning. It's not that i was stocking him but that loud noise made me look into his machine  more than mine. I just wanted to win at least something, anyway it wasn't my lucky day.

I realized that Vegas has their own fashion style. Tiny super tight skirts and deep cleavage tops with very bright colors, at least almost every girl i saw had " The Vegas Style", not my favorite one.

Cause it was extremely hot i decided to go for very light dresses and skirts and wore hats all the time. What i like the most in summer is to use a lot of bright colors like red, pink, green. Even with my nails i like to have fun with those colors.

The best of this three days trip was the Cirque Du Soleil show, Le Reve. The journey into a  world of romance, action and fantasy in an Aqua theater in the Wynn Hotel. Just amazing the artistic athleticism, under water tango and acrobatics made me expect the unexpected.o

4 TH OF JULY!!

I am so sorry I am just posting, and it's already the 13 th of july, the reason is becuse I was in mexico for few days. In the next post i'll be telling the story of my mexican adventure.
Now let's go back to the 4 th of july. What really got my attention was the empty streets and the smell of BBQ everywhere. I was doing alot of effort to go vegetarian  but the smell made me desire so much a piece of beef and... I must admit, I ate a huge hamburger with fries and a bit of Mac & cheese, no rules for today!!.
families together kids running everywhere, made me miss my family so much. Everyone with t-shirts ties and hats with the american flag. Even the houses were decorated with flags posters and lights with blue white and red.

AUDREY HEPBURN OBSESSION

As i said in one of my first posts, I am kind of an obsessive person, and I admit it. Audrey Hepburn Biography Book, Breakfast at Tiffany's dvd a beautiful picture of her that i hanged on my wall and a mug. Is that obsession? well those were my last week purchases.
For sure I am not the only person who admires the extraordinary life of such an extraordinary person. That besides all her success, fame and being such a big fashion icon that inspired designs by Givenchy and earned her place in the International Best Dressed List Hall of Fame. during her last years of life she worked among the poorest children of the third world she was named Ambassador for UNICEF. Her commitment was absolute, she found herself among cultures as disperate as the Vietnamese, the Indians and various African tribes.
Sabrina, Academy Award-winning lead role in Roman Holiday, Breakfast at Tiffany's, My Fair Lady are some of my favorite ones.
With her death, a light went down for millions It seemed a particular cruelty that so purposeful and radiant a life had been prematurely ended, she was just sixty-three.

Talking about obsessions. I went to a casting for a commercial, while i was waiting, my curiosity drive me thru the empty casting director's office, a man of more or less sixty years old. He had all the room packed with Superman posters, toys even the curtains were with the Superman logo. Definitely everyone has an obsession. Whats yours??
